While at OGL, I worked on the following projects:
Snake lipids
One of my research project with OGL helped Professor Kenig finish an herpetological project involving lipid identification and quantification.  We were studying the distribution of lipids in shed snake skins from several families, subfamilies and genus of snakes. We were also quantifying the amount of extractable lipids per surface area of skins to determine the influence of climate versus genetics on the amount of free lipids produced.
Independent research
Fall 2015,  I registered for independent research with Professor Fabien Kenig, to work on aerosol filters I collected over Lake Michigan during a scientific cruise, while working with Professor Max Berkelhammer last summer.
